The UW Speech and Hearing Clinic provides evaluation and treatment for individuals experiencing changes in voice or resonance. Voice concerns may affect how a person sounds, how their voice feels, and how easily they can communicate in daily life.
Voice changes can occur for many reasons, including vocal strain, medical conditions, or changes in how the voice is used, and may impact communication at home, work, or in social settings.
What We Offer
Services are individualized and may include:
- Evaluation of voice quality, pitch, and vocal function
- Strategies to improve vocal clarity, endurance, and comfort
- Techniques for efficient and healthy voice use
- Exercises to support voice strength and coordination

We also collaborate with medical providers and voice care teams when needed to support comprehensive care.
