The UW Speech and Hearing Clinic offers accent and communication support services for individuals who would like to modify or expand their communication skills. This is an elective service, and we approach this work with respect for each individual’s identity, background, and communication style. We value and respect all languages, dialects, and accents, and our services are guided by each individual’s personal goals.
Our goal is not to change who you are, but to support your communication goals in specific settings, such as work, school, social interactions, or performance.
