Language Study for Children with Language Impairments

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Language Acquisition and Bilingualism Lab is recruiting families with children ages 5 – 8 who have language impairments or language learning difficulties to participate in a research study that examines how children develop their language skills. The study is conducted remotely over Zoom and participants receive a $20 gift card to Target, Amazon, or Walmart after each session!

In this study, children will meet with a speech-language pathologist for two, 1 – hour sessions via Zoom. Children will complete language and thinking games and standardized language assessments. Parents will be provided a brief language assessment report at the end of the study.
