We are thrilled to be profiling emeritus Communication Sciences and Disorders faculty members in October and November!
Today we profile Emeritus Clinical Professor Ted Tweed. Following retirement from the department in 1992, Tweed spent a year teaching Introduction to Audiology in our department. At the same time, he was hired as a consultant in audiology by the Episense Research Program, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences (Beaver Dam Studies) where he continues to the present, although at a reduced involvement now that he is a bona fide octogenarian.
Ted also enjoys woodworking, plays in three musical groups, and is active in the Lions Club. Ted is a former runner who now walks every day, travels with wife Jan, and likes to brag about all seven grandchildren.
