Goodnight Hall Renovations Focus on Student Spaces

Exciting things are happening at Goodnight Hall, home of UW-Madison’s Communication Sciences and Disorders!

We’ve recently completed several renovation projects, focused on updating student spaces and improving the student experience. All our smaller academic classrooms have been fully renovated with new carpeting, furniture, energy-efficient lighting, and technology.

CSD expanded the number of learning spaces by reclaiming and transforming underutilized areas into engaging classroom environments. These new rooms allow us to offer more flexibility for different teaching styles and classroom setups. The renovations have also improved available learning technologies.

Other student spaces have been updated in Goodnight Hall. The fourth-floor student lounge and student library were thoughtfully refurnished and reconfigured, based on student feedback. A new outdoor patio offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy the views of Lake Mendota.
