UWSHC’s Concussion Services, developed and facilitated by clinical professor Kim Caul and her MS-SLP graduate student team, is beginning it’s 4th semester since its launch in fall 2023. Since that time, the clinic has evaluated and treated 14 university students who had sustained concussions, as well as 8 community members. UWSHC’s Concussion Services team has worked closely with University Health Services (UHS) and McBurney Disability Resource Center to ensure that students can implement clinic recommendations for healing while continuing to participate in their classes, activities, relationships and environments. The service was recently featured in The Weekly, the official UW-Madison student weekly newsletter and hopes to help even more students in the near future.

Any students or community members with concussion symptoms are encouraged to schedule an appointment, whether the concussion was recent or in the past: https://csd.wisc.edu/clinic/concussion-services/
