The Meghan Murphy Better Days Fund provides scholarship opportunities for pediatric clients with speech and language disorders to receive services at the UW Speech and Hearing Clinic (UWSHC).
Brady started speech therapy at the UWSHC this spring after receiving this scholarship. When Brady started at UWSHC, his mom and dad were concerned because he wasn’t using any verbal language. His language is growing weekly and he currently expresses himself using a combination of sign language, verbal words, gestures and AAC and his vocabulary has grown by over 20 words. His family expresses gratitude weekly as they watch his language grow and see his excitement in being able to communicate.
Thank you to all the donors who make the Meghan Murphy Better Days fund possible for clients like Brady!
