Congratulations to two members of the CCANDL lab for receiving the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) “Meritorious Poster Award.” Elizabeth Evans, a second-year SLP student, won this award for her poster “Cookie Theft Analysis & Development of New Stimuli for Picture Description Among Diverse Populations.” Hannah Belay, a senior completing her B.S in Communication Sciences and Disorders, won this award for her poster “Communication Behaviors Manifested as Episodes of Lucidity in Persons Living with Dementia: A Scoping Review.”
This award recognizes posters that show exceptional and innovative work. ASHA received 1,571 poster submissions this year, and only 57 were chosen for this award. Congratulations again to Elizabeth and Hannah on their exemplary posters!
