Elizabeth Evans, first-year graduate student in Communication Sciences and Disorders, won the Best Graduate Student Poster Award at the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Research Day. Held at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, there were dozens of excellent graduate student posters detailing the work related to Alzheimer’s disease that is happening at the UW-Madison campus. Elizabeth’s poster, entitled “Validation of Connected Speech from Picture Description as a Marker for Cognitive Change in African-American Participants from the Milwaukee Site of Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer’s Prevention (WRAP),” is covering new ground. Well deserved for all of your hard work, Elizabeth!
