Last month, our speech-language graduate students and two clinical supervisors, Alyson Eith and Kim Caul, volunteered at the Dane County Regional Airport at the 2nd annual Wings for All event. Wings for All gives individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families participated in the simulated process of taking a flight including: checking in at the ticket counter, obtaining their boarding passes, going through TSA security and boarding a plane that did not take off.

UW-Madison and Arc Dane County provided training to the TSA and volunteers at the Dane County Regional Airport prior to the event. We had an amazing day!

Service animals were on hand for the simulation.
