Elizabeth Dunn and Erin Hackett, two of our SLP master’s students, presented at UW’s School of Medicine and Public Health’s Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Research Day at the Discovery Center. Elizabeth and Erin worked with CS&D assistant professor Kim Mueller, Ph.D., CCC-SLP on their research. They presented a poster about associations with amyloid plaque deposition and longitudinal connected speech and language in unimpaired adults at risk for Alzheimer’s Disease. They did a fantastic job!
