Her NIH-funded research focuses on the molecular and genetic factors that contribute to the development of normal and injured vocal tissue. Dr. Thibeault is a recognized leader in the field, especially for her translational work in the area of tissue regeneration and wound healing. Additionally, she has served as director of the UW Health Voice and Swallow Clinics for more than a decade. It is particularly notable that Dr. Thibeault is the youngest recipient of this award across its history.
