UW NSSLHA’s DEI Committee is holding a panel event on Tuesday, March 30th from 6-7:30 pm. We would like to extend the invitation to any faculty, graduate students, or staff who would like to attend. We are honored to have an amazing team of panelists which includes Dr. Viji Easwar, Dr. Sriram Boothalingam, Tenzin Dasal, Elizabeth Evans, Ama Idun (an SLP in the Sun Prairie School District), and Dr. Weismer (to speak more on facilitating DEI goals in the classroom).
The purpose of this DEI Panel Event is to:
- represent the diverse experiences of our faculty & students,
- allow for both, BIPOC and white faculty & students to ask questions they have regarding the panelists’ experiences to continue working towards cultural humility and
- to give all faculty & students a platform to share their experiences as well.
