Research Statement

Dr. Easwar is interested in studying typical development, the impact of hearing loss, and the effect of using auditory prostheses on development using EEG techniques. She is interested in extending objective (EEG) measures to the clinic for evaluating hearing aid benefit in children. Dr. Easwar’s research also focuses on the development of binaural hearing in children with two cochlear implants/hearing aids.
