Tristan is a current PhD student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working on research in speech processing and encoding under the mentorship of Dr. Bobby Gibbs. He earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maine in 2024 with a focus on applied Deep Learning for multi-speaker separation in adverse sound environments. During his time at the University of Maine, he was a Teaching Assistant for Cybersecurity, Discrete Structures, and Software Engineering Capstone I & II.
