Madelyn is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist and doctoral student under the mentorship of Dr. Nicole Rogus-Pulia. She received her B.A. in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from the University of Minnesota in 2018 and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Kentucky University in 2022. Madelyn has clinical experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, skilled nursing, home health, outpatient, and telehealth. Her research interests include swallowing rehabilitation in neurodegenerative diseases, dysphagia associated with substance abuse, the effects of pathophysiological changes on swallow function, and the impact of intubation on voice and swallowing.
