Lauren Dillard, Au.D.
Lauren is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and a Master’s candidate in the Department of Population Health Sciences. In 2017, she recieved her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.), also from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lauren completed her Au.D. externship at the National Center for Rehabilitative Auditory Research & VA Medical Center in Portland, OR, where she also completed an NIH-NIDCD T-35 research training program. Lauren’s previous research has focused on: audiological management of patients treated with ototoxic medications, auditory processing, development of clinical counseling tools, and determining the utility of clinical data in audiological research. Her current research uses population-based and epidemiological methodology to pursue clinically relevant research questions.
