Hearing Health Education and Outreach

Audiology clinical faculty and Au.D. students participate in a number of educational outreach events for the community each year. These events include UW Madison Science Expeditions, the Wisconsin Science Festival, the Waunakee Health Fair, the UW Madison Institute on Aging Annual Symposium and more. During these events, faculty and students provide education on hearing and hearing loss prevention. They engage community members in thoughtful and fun activities related to audiology. In addition, they often provide free hearing screenings for the public.
