The Peer Mentoring task force of the CSD Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee is hosting an event on April 21st from 7-8:30pm! This event will include a panel discussion (7-7:45pm) of individuals from different backgrounds within CSD who have taken a diverse range of career paths. Discussions will center around different education paths (taking time off, going straight through to a professional degree), challenges (and successes) during clinical fellowships (How do you choose? What happens when it’s not what you expect?), and diverse careers associated with CSD degrees. The second half of the event (7:45-8:30pm) will include breakout rooms (you choose which room you want to join!) to speak with panelists on related topics. This is meant to be a very informal event so feel free to eat dinner or a snack during the event.
