Development and Characterization of a Novel Small Animal Model of Laryngeal Papillomavirus-associated Disease
Renee is a certified speech-language pathologist and a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She earned a B.A. in Linguistics from the College of William & Mary and a BS in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education from Utah State University. She completed her M.S. degree in speech-language pathology at Vanderbilt University, on the Voice Specialty Track, and her clinical fellowship in the UW-Madison Voice and Swallow Clinics. Her research interests span the translational science spectrum relating to voice and voice disorders, especially development, treatment, and prevention of laryngeal disease. Her specific interest is virus-host interactions in laryngeal papillomavirus infection and progression to recurrent respiratory papillomatosis.
