Emily Burg, B.S.
The Influence of Interaural Asymmetries on Binaural Hearing Benefits in Adults with Normal Hearing and with Cochlear Implants
Emily earned a B.S. with honors in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. As an undergraduate she worked as a research assistant in the Litovsky lab and developed a passion for research and hearing science. During graduate school Emily will continue to work in the lab as a project assistant, exploring the differences in performance between bilateral cochlear implant users and normal hearing individuals, as well as the cognitive mechanisms involved in binaural hearing. In the future she would like to be involved in auditory research that is translatable to clinical care.
