Margarethe McDonald, B.A.
Margarethe is a doctoral candidate in the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and has a B.A. from Indiana University in Linguistics and East Asian Languages & Cultures. Her research interests include investigating how language exposure affects production and perception in bilingual children, effects of accented vs. native speech on the phonological system, and cross-linguistic lexical activation in bilinguals during auditory word recognition.
