
Ryan is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist and doctoral student under the mentorship of Dr. Nicole Rogus-Pulia. He received his B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Wilkes University in 2013, and earned his M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at Misericordia University in 2016. Ryan has clinical experience working with the adult population in acute, inpatient rehab, and subacute settings. Ryan’s current research interests relate to how swallow safety and efficiency are impacted by neurodegenerative changes, environmental factors, cognitive decline, and salivary disturbance.
