Clinical faculty from the UW Speech and Hearing Clinic supervise a team of undergraduate and graduate student clinicians at Mansfield Hall. Mansfield Hall is an innovative college support program and living/learning community for college students with disabilities. The UW Speech and Hearing Clinic promotes social communication skills and offers peer-mediated intervention onsite. Social Communication Seminars are held weekly and offer both group and individual sessions as needed. The carry over of skills and strategies are supported by a weekly community outing. In addition, this experience offers student clinicians opportunities related to mentoring and inter-professional collaboration.
