This scholarship was established in 2015 to honor the memory of Julie Anderson Wagner. This fund will support future speech-language pathologists studying at UW-Madison who share Julie's passion for improving children's lives through better communication. This endowment fund will allow a scholarship to be provided every year to a student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders studying to become a speech-language pathologist.

The fund will be used for student travel awards to the Symposium on Research in Child Language Disorders (SRCLD), as well as to defray other costs of the conference. Jon was the founder of the SRCLD conference which he directed for 30 years. His passion for the field and for mentoring the next generation of child language disorders researchers is recognized by this award.|
