UWSHC offers comprehensive services for a wide range of voice and resonance problems, including direct treatment and collaboration with other voice care professionals.
We offer assessment and therapy services for adults and children with changes in their voice due to conditions such as:
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Vocal Nodules or other vocal fold lesions
- Vocal tremor
- Spasmodic dysphonia
- Muscle Tension Dysphonia
- Age-related voice changes
We can provide therapy for resonance disorders related to cleft palate and other craniofacial anomalies, and non-cleft velopharyngeal dysfunction.
Some voice and resonance conditions require evaluation with a medical team prior to behavioral treatment, and collaboration with the physician and medical team may be needed for optimal treatment.
