AAC Talk & Toy (ToT) Time is a literacy-based preschool program for children who have expressive communication needs. AAC strategies are incorporated into treatment sessions to promote speech, language and early literacy skills.
Watch Me Grow
The Watch Me Grow program is designed for children birth to 4 years of age and their parents or caregivers. The program offers individual and group intervention services and parent/caregiver coaching that promotes the development of communication, social interaction, play, and feeding.
The program provides intervention for young children with a variety of diagnoses, but not limited to the following:
- Receptive language delay
- Expressive language delay
- Speech delay
- Developmental delays
- Prematurity
- Hearing loss
- Down syndrome
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Cerebral palsy
- Oral-motor or sensory-based feeding issues
The Watch Me Grow program reflects best practices for early intervention and is committed to meeting children and families where they are in their development by establishing outcomes based on families’ identified needs and priorities. Intervention services are play-based and adaptable to a family’s everyday routines, learning styles, and cultural beliefs. This program is facilitated by speech language pathology clinical associate professors, Kathryn Basco and Liz Delsandro, who have over 30 years of experience working with young children and their families.
