Hearing Aid Consultations
Individuals interested in new hearing aids receive a personalized consultation appointment where they receive individualized, unbiased recommendations. The UWSHC offers cutting-edge technology and services for extremely competitive prices at the highest standard of care.
Hearing Aid Fittings
After a hearing aid has been selected, patients return in 2-3 weeks for a hearing aid fitting appointment. At this appointment, clinicians work to ensure that our patients are comfortable and confident using their new hearing aids. All of our hearing aid patients are given a 45-day adjustment period. During the adjustment period, UWSHC clinicians see patients for follow-up appointments to determine whether the hearing aids are working well and to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction. All patients receive a warranty on new hearing aids, which covers the cost of any additional appointments and repairs during the warranty period.
Hearing Aid Repairs and Services
The UWSHC provides detailed hearing aid repairs at reasonable prices, whether the hearing aids were purchased at our clinic or elsewhere. Some repairs can be made during a clinic appointment, while other repairs are made by a hearing aid company. The clinic works with numerous hearing aid companies to offer the most comprehensive services in the area.
Assistive Listening Technology
The UWSHC has an assistive listening device (ALD) demonstration area that includes telephone amplifiers; television amplifiers; amplified alarm clocks; personal listening devices; FM systems; and alerting devices such as smoke alarms. The UWSHC’s experienced audiologists assist in the ordering of assistive hearing technology or make recommendations for patients to purchase devices on their own.
Personalization of Over-the-Counter (OTC) Hearing Technology
UWSHC expert audiologists offer testing and personalization of many over-the-counter (OTC) hearing devices.
